Nakawe Project initially approached Newbird due to internal capacity challenges in managing their existing, largely inactive Google Ads campaign. Newbird not only helped re-establish Nakawe Project’s TechSoup and Google Ad Grants accounts but also ensured full compliance with all program requirements. This involved rebooting and optimizing the setup across both platforms, ensuring Nakawe’s digital efforts could run smoothly and effectively moving forward.

Landing Page Creation

Newbird’s first step was optimizing Nakawe Project’s Squarespace foundation, refining various pages to be more conversion-friendly. This was critical for maximizing the effectiveness of Google Ad Grants spend. We then developed targeted landing pages focused on promoting Nakawe’s ecotours, designed to convert visitors into participants. The enhancements ensured these pages could handle increased traffic and drive meaningful engagement.

Campaign
Management

Newbird provided comprehensive Google Ad Grants management for Nakawe, including keyword selection and budget optimization. Through these efforts, we achieved an average of 435 users per month, reflecting a growth of over 300% in traffic. Newbird established a proper Google Analytics 4 setup for Nakawe, as it was not initially configured.
